WARRANTIES AND SERVICE ARRANGEMENTS
The products sold are covered by the manufacturer's conventional warranty and, for final consumers only, by the legal warranty of 24 months for conformity defects, pursuant to art. 128 ff. legislative decree no. 206/2005.
The manufacturer's conventional warranty is provided in accordance with the duration and manner explained by the manufacturer.
Warranty service should be requested in the following ways:
1) by contacting the manufacturer directly, as explained in the documentation inside the package of the product purchased. In this case, the timing of repair or eventual replacement of the product depends solely on the manufacturer.

c) Pfaff and Husqvarna-Viking : The address of the service center closest to the customer's home will be provided at the time of purchase.
Of course in case of loss (of contact details) it can always be requested from us at any time, even by email by providing the order number.
d) Juki - "SewShop at Home" For products purchased at www.sewshop.eu 5 years warranty on mechanical parts and 2 years warranty on electrical/electronic parts (only for end consumers), excluding MO50E which has 2 years warranty

2) Sewing machines and overlockers: by activating our "SewShop at Home" service with a simple phone call to 0771512525 (2).
Our "SewShop at Home" service involves picking up the product at your home. Once picked up, upon evaluation by our technical staff, it will be repaired or replaced and returned to you. Pickup, repair or replacement of the item and return is totally FREE for the warranty period.
To take advantage of this service, you must keep your original purchase receipt as well as the original packaging (cardboard and styrofoam).
The latter arrangement allows us to have the goods travel safely and assume all kinds of responsibility in case of damage.
The 24-month warranty applies to the product that presents a conformity defect, provided that the product itself is used correctly and in accordance with its intended use and the provisions of the attached technical documentation. This warranty is reserved for the Private Consumer and valid provided that the customer activates the warranty procedure within a maximum of 60 days from the date on which the defect was discovered. In the event of a lack of conformity, the "seller" shall restore the conformity of the product by repair/replacement or reduction of the price, up to the termination of the contract.
If, following intervention by an Authorized Service Center, the defect does not prove to be a conformity defect, the Customer will be charged for any costs of verification and restoration required by the Authorized Service Center, as well as the costs of transportation if incurred by the "seller". The timing of replacement or eventual repair of the product depends exclusively on the manufacturer's policies.
In the event that, for any reason, it is unable to return to its customer a product under warranty (restored or replaced) the "seller" may proceed at its own discretion to refund the full amount paid or replace it with a product of equal or superior characteristics.
In cases where the application of guarantees provides for the return of the product, the goods must be returned by the Customer in the original packaging, complete in all its parts (including packaging and any documentation and accessory equipment: manuals, cables, etc. ...).
For this purpose, the Customer must request from the "seller" the return authorization number of the product.
In case of return authorization with the "SewShop at Home" service, the pickup and return of defective goods will be the responsibility of the "seller" (3).
In the event that the goods sent back under warranty were fully functional, the "seller" will send them back to the customer by charging the costs incurred.
If the repair of the product is not under warranty, the "seller" will notify the customer of the amount of the estimate.
The warranty covers only the repair or replacement of inoperable or inefficient items due to manufacturing or production defects found at the manufacturer's authorized service center.
Warranty does not cover glass parts, lamps, bodies; consumables such as needle plates, looper, etc. ; maintenance and calibration work mentioned in the user manual supplied with the equipment.
The warranty is invalid if the appliance has been tampered with by unauthorized personnel, if the failures were caused by carelessness or misuse by the purchaser, willful misconduct, transportation, shocks, falls, moisture, use of consumables not in accordance with the appliance manufacturer's specifications, or other causes not dependent on manufacturing or production defects.
The "seller" shall never, under any circumstances, be burdened with charges or damages arising from any interruptions in the operation of the equipment subject to the warranty or delays in repair due to third parties.
