Convert any photo into a beautiful Sketch stitch masterpiece

The latest addition to this embroidery software is the Sketch stitch technique.
With Sketch, a bitmap image can be transformed into a charcoal sketch using only a black thread or an assortment of gray threads.
The technique is suitable for use primarily on white fabric and covers about 20% of the area, making it versatile for embroidery on delicate materials such as T-shirts. Inverted versions of Sketch on dark fabrics are also supported.
This additional feature expands the range of customizable options for our valued users.

This is a revolutionary new feature that dynamically creates floral designs and fills areas to apply to your designs.

Create designs with curved stitches

The “curved stitches” function guides the embroidery stitches by following the curvature of the design with very realistic results.
The resulting effect is that of moving embroidery due to the sinuosity of the lines.
You can add curve directions on step-filled objects to give them a wavy look.
Just apply a normal straight direction and drag it from the center to make it a curve.
The points automatically follow the curvature of the drawing.

SKETCH FUNCTION
This edition of DRAWings XII PRO lets you transform an image into a black and white drawing with a "sketch" effect. The great advantage of using this function is that the drawing will be generated to cover only 20% of the total area, saving on embroidery thread and obtaining a design ideal for embroidering on delicate or stretch fabrics such as t-shirts.

Se un’immagine  realizzata con paintStitch richiede 120.000 punti di ricamo, l’immagine creata con Sketch ne richiederà soltanto 30.000. Il disegno è pensato per venire realizzato con un unico filo nero, per ridurre al minimo anche il cambio di filo e il tempo di lavorazione, ma si possono scegliere fino a 7 tonalità di grigio.

CUT AND ROTATE BITMAP FILLS
Nell’edizione precedente non era possibile modificare un ricamo creato con le funzioni Cross-stitch, Photostitch, PaintStitch. Queste immagini venivano generate in un rettangolo che non era possibile modificare. Con l’edizione XII è possibile tagliare parte dell’immagine, mascherarla con una forma, ruotarla o inclinarla.

Se si posiziona un oggetto abbastanza grande sopra all’immagine ora verrà generato un buco nell’immagine per rimuovere la sovrapposizione. Queste funzioni (inclusa la funzione Sketch) supportano anche i file png e gestiscono la trasparenza generando punti di ricamo solo dove c’è l’immagine senza creare uno sfondo come accadeva in precedenza.

START AND END POINT/ORDER/THREADCUT
Revolutionary and intuitive new tool for determining the start and end point for embroidering each object. The tool works on each individual color layer. The entire sequence of execution is shown graphically and the user can take action to change it. It is possible to change both the start and end point, but also to change the order in which the program has decided to embroider the various objects. In addition, one can decide where and whether to add/remove the thread cut.

NEW PROPERTIES WINDOW
The properties window has been completely redesigned to be more practical, with groupings by property type that can be contracted to leave more space in the work area. also, when not needed, property windows are not shown.

NEW FLOWER FILLING
In edition XI the floral fill was generated starting from a main branch from which many smaller and smaller branches started. In Edition XII, a new type of floral fill was added that is more like a climbing plant that unravels more evenly to fill the available space.

VERTICAL TEXT
In this 12th edition, text can also be inserted vertically.

ENHANCED MANUAL MODE
Con la nuova modalità manuale i riempimenti e i contorni degli oggetti vengono separati in modo da poterli gestire separatamente. Si può poi decidere per ogni oggetto di inserire/escludere il rasafilo o di applicare lo stop forzato della macchina.

Quando si inserisce un nuovo oggetto questo non viene più messo in fondo alle sequenze ma viene aggiunto subito dopo l’oggetto selezionato al momento. Quando si cancella un elemento del disegno, la selezione non scompare e viene immediatamente selezionato l’oggetto della sequenza successiva a quella eliminata. Tutti i punti di collegamento tra gli oggetti ora sono visibili

COLOR SELECTION
In this edition, the ability to also select colors by color code by yarn brand, by description (e.g., green, yellow, etc.) or by RGB code has been added.

SHOW/HIDE OBJECTS

With DRAWings PRO XII you can change the density even of embroidery files (raw) that were not designed with DRAWings. You can change the density of a section without changing its size up to +- 25%.

REMOVAL OF EXCESS KNOTS
A function has also been added in this edition to reduce excess knots in a path. This function applies only to curved knots and not to squared knots to still maintain every edge of the shape.
