The Juki HZL-DX5 professional sewing machine assures you quick and easy selection of the 10 most commonly used sewing programs and sartorial-quality results.

The Juki system industrial “box feed” or square transport was transferred to the domestic sewing machines. This system makes it possible to create high-quality stitches on all types of fabric.

For professional results on even the toughest materials such as silk, chiffon and the like, simply slide the front lever to switch to the single needle hole and sew the lightest fabrics with perfect needle penetration: the transport and sewing perfection of an industrial machine!

The floating presser foot function, exclusive to Juki, allows you to sew multiple layers of overlapping material while avoiding uneven and unsightly seams, a must for quilters, as well as the needle pivot function and the presser foot that automatically lifts when sewing is complete!

The single hole plate will not allow fabrics to be pushed into the needle hole, and even in free-motion sewing you can achieve precision and perfection. Sew with confidence, when the single needle function is set, only straight stitches can be selected.

Buttonhole sensor system enables optimal feeding on any fabric. Single-pass buttonholes with the sensor that measures and evenly sews right and left sides.

Maximum versatility with functions assignable to the foot pedal: with the back (heel) side of the foot pedal you can now lift the presser foot, cut threads, reinforce the stitch, or run a single stitch by pressing on the heel side of the foot control.

When you stop sewing with the needle in the down position, the presser foot automatically lifts to allow the fabric to move. Sew corners or turn the work with ease, when you resume sewing the presser foot automatically lowers and continues sewing.

It is possible to adjust the speed of the starting point and reverse in three steps: fast, normal and slow.

For the stop stitch at the beginning and end of a seam, you can choose two types: “reverse stitch” and “knotted stitch.” If you press the knotted stitch button in the middle of a seam, the machine will stop after sewing a cycle of the same.

By pressing and holding the needle up/down button, you can sew slowly. Sew corners, stops and starts with the utmost precision.

With the included toggle, the foot can be raised and lowered while keeping the hands free up to 12mm.

Needle threading is something for which a lot of time is sometimes lost. With the Juki DX5 just place the wire in the guide and lower the lever and magically you can threading the needle with one hand.

To fill the spool, simply wind the wire a couple of turns and pass it through the guide.
You can load the bobbin at any time even while you are sewing as it is done through an independent motor, no work stoppage, and use the thread trimmer after winding.

To thread the spool holder, simply follow the guide and there is no need to fish out the spool thread.

The LED light illuminates the work area evenly, avoiding shadowy areas.
