With the fringe foot Create many embroideries with a three-dimensional effect.
You will get nice embroideries, very suitable for terry cloth and velvet and to embellish pillows and dresses.
It can also be used to make slow stitches with your sewing machine.
Use
1. With a fabric pen, trace the design you want.
2. Put a stabilizer under the fabric.
3. Loosen the upper thread tension until the bobbin thread is no longer visible on the right side of the work.
4. Select zigzag. 0.5 to 1.0 length. Sew the stitches row by row. To make circles you must work from outside to inside.
5. If you use thick yarns you need to select a slightly longer stitch length. Always do a seam test.
6. When you are finished, gently remove the work from under the sewing machine, holding the last loops of thread.If you pull too quickly the loops will flatten.
7. Knot the threads at the beginning and end on the reverse side of the fabric. Use a sealant to prevent the loops from being pulled.
Tip: This presser foot can be used to create slow stitches (basting type).
Attention: the stitch width should NOT exceed 6 mm, but neither should it be reduced below 2.5 mm.
